With Spring weather here, the calendar is winding down towards the end of school.
The District #18 Board of Education Wednesday night determined the final day of school.
So far this year there have been no snow days. As a result, it was determined by the administration and board members that the last day of school for 2011-12 will be Friday, May 18.
Gymnasium
The subject of the gymnasium room at Elgin High School was addressed Wednesday night by the District #18 Board of Education.
Board members listened to a presentation by Ross Gronau from EnergyCraft Systems on what could be done to repair problems which have developed with the ceiling tiles.
