Mary Herley, 91, of Stanton, NE., passed away Sunday, March 18, 2018, at the Stanton Health Center. No services will be held.

Mary Herley, the daughter of Ruel and Fanny (Weygint) Lamson was born September 2, 1926, at Neligh, NE.
She attended grade school in Elgin, and graduated from Elgin High School.
On October 28, 1945 she married the love of her life, Arlon Herley in Clearwater, NE. After marriage, Mary and Arlon lived in Neligh where Mary was a housewife raising their 4 children for numerous years.
Mary and Arlon moved to Norfolk in 1966 and she worked for Dales Electronics for 22 years.
Mary enjoyed taking care of Arlon, traveling, and taking short car rides with Arlon. Arlon died Dec. 13, 2016.
Mary is survived by son’s Jim Herley of Norfolk, and Dennis Herley of Columbus, daughter Glenda (Hal) Bentley of Fremont, and daughter-in-law Michelene (Kerber) Herley of Oakdale, NE., eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband Arlon Herley, parents Ruel and Fanny, a son Raymond H. Herley, brothers Bernard Lamson, Bill Lamson, Hilda Jones, Laura Becker, Doris Dempster, and Mildred Reinke.
