Funeral services for Mark Stottler, age 54 of Tekamah, Nebraska, were held Friday, September 5, 2014, at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Bloomfield, Nebraska.  Reverend Tim Koester officiated the funeral service. Burial of cremains will be at a later date.
Visitation was held Thursday, at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Bloomfield.
Brockhaus Funeral Home of Bloomfield was in charge of arrangements.

Mark died Sunday, August 31, 2014, at his home.
Mark GlenDel Stottler was born September 26, 1959 in Nora Springs, Iowa to Glen and Marge Stottler. Mark was baptized in November of 1959 at the Congregational Church in Princeton, Minnesota. He attended schools in Hickman, Nebraska, and Blair, Nebraska, and graduated from Bloomfield High School in 1978. Mark was confirmed on May 18, 1975 at St Marks Lutheran Church. He was blessed with two children, Erin and Adam, from a previous marriage. Mark had been employed by Great Plains Communications of Blair, Nebraska for 33 years and was Manager of CATV/Broadband Engineering. He was past President of SCTE Cable Association. Mark loved the outdoors, especially when he was golfing, fishing, or hunting.
Mark is survived by his children, Erin (Jeff) Eickhoff of Albion, Nebraska; Adam (Courtney) Stottler of Alma, Nebraska; three grandchildren, Evan and Reagan Eickhoff, and Jaxton Stottler; his mother, Marge Stottler of Bloomfield, Nebraska; brother: Kory (Lori) Stottler of Greenville, Alabama; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Glen Stottler, in 2009; and his grandparents.
