Marilyn Jean, daughter of Laura (Storie) and Elmer Welburn was born on May 26, 1937, at Oakdale NE. She was a graduate of Elgin High School with the class of 1954. On February 17, 1957, she was united in marriage with Maurice R. Norton in Germany where he was stationed with the U.S. Army.
Survivors include her husband, Maurice,of Louisville; one daughter, Maureen (Larry) Gulizia; two sons, Mitchel; and Marshall (Carrie); four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Wayne and Lynn; one sister-in-law Linda (Bill) Cooley, one brother-in-law, Gene (Nancy) Norton. She was preceded in death by one brother and three sisters.
