Invenergy submitted a map of the proposed sites for the Prairie Breeze Wind Energy Project to Antelope County Supervisors earlier this week. All sites are located south of Highway 70 and a few extend into Boone and Madison counties. A total of 120 wind turbines are expected to be part of Prairie Breeze. The supervisors approved the conditional use permit being sought by Invenergy as a step leading to construction of the project. The orange dots are projected locations of the individual turbines.
