Lynette M. Molt, 85, of Albion, NE, passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at the Wolf Memorial Good Samaritan Center in Albion.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10 a.m., Saturday, September 19, 2015, at St. Mic-hael’s Catholic Church in Albion, with Fr. Stan Schmit officiating. Interment followed at Rose Hill Cemetery in Albion. Visitation was held Friday, Sept. 18, at the church, with an evening  wake service. Levander Funeral Home of Albion was in charge of arrangements. Lynette Mae (Lansing) Molt, the daughter of Paul and Marie (Grundmayer) Lansing was born December 10, 1929 at Raeville, Nebraska. She began her education at Raeville and continued in Cedar Rapids where her family moved while at a young age. She graduated from Cedar Rapids High school in 1947.
Lynette met Marvin Molt at the Cedar Rapids Community Picnic and where married on September 9, 1948 in Blair, Nebraska. They farmed and raised their family south of Albion. Marvin died in 1977. Lynette worked as a cook at the nursing home in Genoa, Cloverlodge Care Center in St. Edward, and the Wolf Memorial Good Samaritan Center in Albion from 1989 until 2010. Lynette retired at the age of 80. She loved her children and grand children and put them before anything else. She had a strong faith and love for the church, being a member of St. Bonaventure in Raeville, St. Anthony’s in Cedar Rapids, and St. Michael’s in Albion.
Surviving Lynette is her children Patty Roberg (Gary) of Albion, NE; Larry Molt (Linda) St. Edward, NE; Ron Molt (Nida) of York, NE; Deb Donscheski of Scribner, NE; Kris Briese (Jeff) & Glen Molt (Jana), all of Albion; Grandchildren: Kenny Roberg (Jane), Amy McIntyre, Rod Molt (Angela), John Molt (Melinda), Angela Rhodes (Chris), Carisa Stokes (Gary), Jason Donscheski (Billie), Shanon Molt, Shawn Roberts (Scott), Joe Molt, Jolene Pfeifer, Ryan Molt (Hunter), Travis Briese, Chelsey Borer (Bryant), Chad Briese, 18 Great Grandchildren, 4 Great-Great Grandchildren, 9 Step-Grandchildren; 1 Sister Jeanne Krebbs of Omaha, Sister-in-laws Kathryn Sojka & Marge Briese, Eileen & Bob Bittner, all of Albion, Lou Lansing of Palmyra, NE. along with other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents,Father and Mother-in-law Glen and Christina Molt; husband Marvin; 1 Sister Virginia Sandowski, an Infant brother; Brother Paul Lansing Jr.; Brother-in-laws Robert Krebbs, Howard Molt, and Delaine Briese.
