Supervisors Approve Law Enforcement Agreements

Meeting last week, the Antelope County Board of Supervisors took steps to provide continued law enforcement service to three communities.
Supervisors approved the signing of three law enforcement agreements. According to County Clerk Carolyn Pedersen, agreements were approved for the communities of Elgin, Orchard and Clearwater. In the case of Elgin, the contract was for a two-year period. Earlier this month, at a meeting of the Elgin City Council, Sheriff Bob Moore said the law enforcement contract would cost the same as the one approved two years ago. Law enforcement contracts with Oakdale and Neligh are expected to be approved in the very near future.
