Bloodmobile Surpasses Goal

The Elgin Red Cross Bloodmobile was held Friday, Aug. 22.
There was a goal of 54 units and at the end of the day we had 56 productive units. This included six double red cell proceedures.
“We exceeded our goal by two units,” said organizer Darline Warner. A first-time donor was Morgan Carpenter.
Double red donors were Ben Hupp, Gerald Scholl, Denis Henn, Alois Warner, Michael Braband and Bruce Clark.

The next blood drive in Elgin will be hosted by Pope John on Wednesday, Oct. 22 at the KC Hall.
