AAAC Announces New Season

The Albion Area Arts Council will begin its 34th season on Sunday, October 6 with a 7 p.m. concert by award-winning cabaret singer Mary Carrick and pianist Todd Brooks at the Zion Lutheran Church in Albion. Mary and Todd will do a residency the following morning at St. Michael’s school in Albion.
In October and November, in preparation for Jill Anderson’s depiction of Charlotte Bronte in April, retired Boone Central English and History teacher Randall Henning will lead the first of two book studies, this one exploring Charlotte Bronte’s novel, Jane Eyre. Sessions will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Tuesdays, Oct. 15 through Nov. 5 in the Harmony Homes Recreation Room in Albion. Books will be provided at the first session.
