Over 500 people participated in the first ever Laugh-and-a-Half Marathon held in Norfolk on Saturday, June 18. There were over 200 people who ran the half-marathon. The event attracted runners from across Nebraska, South Dakota, Iowa, Minnesota, Kansas, and even as far as Virginia and Sweden. Congratulations to Sufian Kalil of Norfolk and Pope John CC graduate Alissa Krebs of Neligh for finishing first overall in the half-marathon along with all the runners who participated in the event. The event raised over $14,000.
