Koreen K. Benda, 75 of Bloomfield, NE passed away Friday, August 8, 2014 at her home.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at St. Bonaven-ture Catholic Church in Raeville with Rev. Ross Burkhalter officiating.
Inter-ment followed in the parish cemetery. Visitation was held from 5-7 p.m. Monday at Huffman-Levander Funeral Home in Elgin.

Koreen Kay Benda was born November 19, 1938 to Robert and Verna Benda at Petersburg, NE. She lived at home several years before going to reside at North Star in Bloomfield for thirty-six years.
She enjoyed visiting with family and friends, eating out and working puzzles. She cleaned at the bank and delivered newspapers at Bloomfield for several years.
Koreen is survived by three brothers: Bob (LeeAnn) Benda of Prague, NE; Noel (Judy) Benda and Dave (Delores) Benda, all of Petersburg, NE; several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews; along with her caretakers and friends at North Star, who she considered her family and loved them all as family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Verna Benda; maternal grandparents, paternal grandparents, aunts and uncles.
