Koch Joins Town & Country Veterinary Clinic

A Crofton native has joined Town & Country Veterinary Clinic.
Kerri Koch, D.V.M., has accepted a position with the clinic based out of Albion with clinics in Elgin and St. Edward.
Her duties will include mixed animal general practice. “I’ll be working on both large and small animals,” she said Thursday. “It gives me variety and a chance to help people both on the farm and off.”
Koch earned a bachelor’s degree in animal science at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
Earlier this year she received her veterinary degree from Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa.
She’s passionate about agriculture. “I believe strongly in programs such as 4-H and FFA and enjoy teaching the younger generations.”
Koch is no stranger to the northeast Nebraska. “I grew up on a small family farm, a farrow to finish hog operation in Crofton. We had horses for recreational riding and enjoyed the atmosphere of small town living.”
Small town living made the decision easy to buy a home in Elgin where she and her fiancé Jason Koenig (of Chambers) will live. Jason works as part of a ranch operation with his parents. The family consists of a six-year-old son named Ryder and one cat who goes by the name of Dixie.
At an early age, Koch said she wanted to be a veterinarian.
Welcome to Elgin Kerri!
