Hunter Education Class to be Offered in Elgin

Youngsters wishing to learn the proper way to hunt will have the opportunity to do so later this month in Elgin.
A hunter education course offered through the Nebraska Game & Parks Commission will be held Thursday and Saturday, Oct. 18 and 20.
Bill Miller will be the instructor for the course.
The Thursday class, to run from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., will be held at the Elgin Fire Hall meeting room. The Saturday class, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., will be held at the Elgin Community Center.
There is no fee to take the class. Online registration is required, no exceptions! It can be done by going to www.HuntSafeNebraska.org.
