Elgin rural and P.O. box customers will notice a change in hours beginning on Saturday, May 21.
Postmaster Sandy Kerkman announced last week new window hours will begin on that day. Saturday window hours will be from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
Window hours on Mondays through Fridays will be 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
She said rural patrons and post office box customers will receive their mail approximately 30 to 45 minutes later as a result of changes being made in Postal Service hours.
