Winners in the annual Poker Run/Walk at Vetch Days Monday evening are as follows:
Children — 1st-Callie Heithoff; 2nd-Megan Walsh; 3rd-Emily Walsh.
Adults — 1st-Anne Meis; 2nd-Bonnie Hoefer; 3rd-Craig Niewohner.
Altogether, more than 40 persons braved 95+degree heat to walk around Elgin. Proceeds from the event go to help fund upcoming activities by the Elgin Community Club.
