‘Healthy Marriages 101’ Offered

The CARE Team (Community Advocates Reaching Everyone) is presenting “Healthy Marriages 101” program with the following dates. All couples welcome and admission for all three dates is free of charge. If you have questions please contact Nicole Levander.

Couples are encouraged to attend all three dates, but you will not be excluded from the program if you cannot attend all of them. Everyone is strongly encouraged to attend the first date.

Marriage related door prizes will be given out throughout the program as well.

Day 1 — “Fireproof”: Sunday, February 12, 2012 at 3 p.m. at Gateway Theatre in Albion, NE. Sunday matinee featuring the movie “Fireproof”. Concessions will be available.

The Love Dare book from the “Fireproof” movie will be given out to the couples attending at the end of the movie.

Day 2 — “Love Languages”: Saturday, February 25, 2012 at the KC Hall in Elgin, NE.

At 6:30 p.m. there will be appetizers available. 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. – There will be motivational presentations by Paul Springer & Richard Bischoff from the University of Nebraska Medical Center.

The book ‘5 Love Languages”, by Gary Chapman will be given out at the end of the presentations.

Day 3 — “Rock Solid”: Friday, March 23, 2012 at the Albion Country Club. The Band, “Three Rocks In A Pocket” will be performing from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

The CARE Team formed out of the need for education and additional services for individuals dealing with mental health issues. The CARE Team represents professionals in the fields, educators, parents, and others who have experience with mental health problems.
