Golfers Compete at Scotus Invite

COLUMBUS — Seventeen teams competed at the Columbus Scotus Invitational Golf Tournament held last week.

Hastings St. Cecilia won the team competition with a score of 320 followed by Fremont Bergan 323, Schuyler, 335, West Point-Beemer 335, Wayne 335, Norfolk Catholic 340, Wahoo Neumann 344, Scotus Green 353, EPPJ 362. Other schools competing were Boone Central, Lakeview, Waverly, Columbus High JV, West Point CC, Norfolk JV, Lakeview JV and Scotus Gold.

For the Wolfpack, they were led by Zach Baker and Curtis Childers, each shooting an 85 over 18 holes. Other  scores were Evan Parks 96, Brenden Henn 96 and Andrew Heithoff 102.

Medalist was Richard Schneider of West Point-Beemer who shot a 71.
