Geraline Damme

Geraline “Gerry” Damme, born May 31, 1937 in Elgin, Nebraska to Leander and Margaret [Schneider] Kluthe, passed away November 16, 2014 in Mesa, Arizona at the age of 77.
Gerry had a love for dancing, painting and embroidery. She loved to cook and was the master of “Gerry’s surprise”. Together with her husband William, she traveled all around the country and went on several cruises.
Gerry was preceded in death by her parents; one sister Margaret Ann Kluthe and one brother Marvin Kluthe.
She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, William L. Damme; son Dave (Ronda) Barth; step-daughters Alta Sharp, Deborra (Gregory) Watson and Coralette Damme; brothers Allan (Doris) Kluthe and Bernard (Diane) Kluthe; sisters Linda (Dave) Schindler and Mary (Tom) Bergstrom; grandchildren Cassandra Finch, Ethan and Brandon Barth, Scott, Andrew and Stephanie Sharp and Angela, Joshua and Jerrod Watson as well as (3) great grandchildren; Morgan and Nathan Finch and Roland McGinnis.
A memorial service will be held at 11am, Friday November 28th at Our Saviors Lutheran Church 612 S. Ellsworth Rd, Mesa, AZ 85208. There will be an additional service at a later date in June 2015 in Norfolk, Nebraska.
