Floyd L. Henn, 86 of rural Clearwater, NE, passed away Monday, April 4, 2016 at Faith Regional Health Services in Norfolk, NE.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 8, 2016 at St. John’s Catholic Church in rural Clearwater, with Fr. James Kramper officiating.
Interment will follow at St. Patrick’s Cemetery with military rites by American Legion Post 229 and VFW Post 5816 of Elgin, NE.
Visitation will be 6-7:30 p.m. Thursday at rural St. John’s, with a 7:30 p.m. wake service. Huffman-Levander Funeral Home of Elgin, is in charge of arrangements.

Floyd LeRoy Henn, son of Sylvester and Ada (Stokes) Henn, was born May 9, 1929 at Elgin, NE.
He was baptized and confirmed at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Elgin, NE, attended grade school at Bell Tower country school southwest of Elgin, and graduated from St. Boniface Catholic School in 1947. He was very proud of his perfect attendance, first grade through graduation.
He entered the United States Army, proudly fighting in the Korean War and was honorably discharged in March 1953.
On June 2, 1954, Floyd married Marlene Ann Kaster at rural St. John’s Catholic Church southwest of Clearwater. The couple lived and farmed southwest of Clearwater for 60+ years.
To this union four children were born: Cindy, Brenda, Pam and Kevin.
Floyd was a member of rural St. John’s Catholic Church, Pope John School Board, Home and School Organization, Knights of Columbus and secretary of the Clearwater Township.
He enjoyed fishing, camping, playing cards, visiting, reading, watching and reading war stories and following his grandchildren’s activities.
He is survived by his wife Marlene Henn of Clearwater, NE; three children: Brenda (Paul) Kuhlman of Petersburg, NE; Pam (Ray) Braband of Elgin, NE; Kevin Henn of Clearwater, NE; son-in-law Frank Bohaboj; 14 grandchildren: Kurt (Rita) Bohaboj of Bennington, NE; Keith Bohaboj of Fremont, NE; Alan (Aleisha) Bohaboj of Howells, NE; Jeremy (Amanda) Kuhlman of Edmond, OK; Matthew (Amanda) Kuhlman of Beatrice, NE; Christopher (Teri) Kuhlman of Gibbon, NE; Benjamin (Ashley) Kuhlman of Hickman, NE; Nathan (Lexee) Kuhlman of Lincoln, NE; Danielle Kuhlman of Lincoln, NE; AJ (Allison) Braband of Cleveland, OH; Dean Braband of Omaha, NE; Michael Braband of Elgin, NE; Beau Henn of Omaha, NE; Sgt. Derek Henn USAF of Offutt Air Force Base – Bellevue, NE; 12 great-grandchildren; three brothers: Dean (Mary Jane) Henn, Dan (Raedean) Henn and Terry (Jan) Henn, all of Elgin, NE; along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Floyd was preceded in death by his daughter Cindy Bohaboj; parents Sylvester and Ada Henn; parents-in-law John and Ann Kaster; and four siblings: Roger Henn, Delores Henn, Lois Camp and Janie Overton.
