Members of the Elgin Volunteer Fire Department will be busy next week.
City Councilman/Fire Chief Jim Kittleson announced that EVFD members will be busy Tuesday night, April 12, flushing fire hydrants (weather permitting). As is often the case with the fire hydrants being flushed, some residents will notice cloudy water in their homes for a brief period of time.
