The Elgin Volunteer Fire Department (EVFD) continues to receive donations from local and area residents for the new fire building. An account remains open at the Bank of Elgin for those wanting to help with the costs of the new equipment building.
Altogether, $2,286.80 was received last week. The goal of $50,000 is less than $1,500 from being reached.
New donations were received from Meis & Sons (Marvin & Jodine, Ben & Anna), Larry & Julie Borer, Jerry & Betty Kallhoff, Lyle & Betty Mackel, Tracy & Cindy Prater, Brent & Susan Kallhoff, Eva Kallhoff, Alan & Doris Kluthe, Roland & Gladys Reicks, Larry & Janet Barter, Wayne & Dorothy Currie, Ray & Pam Braband, Norbert & Jan Starman, and Doug & Jan VonBonn.
