The Elgin Volunteer Fire Department (EVFD) continues to receive donations from local and area residents for the new fire building. An account remains open at the Bank of Elgin for those wanting to help with the costs of the new equipment building. Altogether, $1,675 was received last week.
New donations were received from Lori Krause, Max & Tarri Wilkinson, “Anonymous”, Gale & Darlene Schindler, Alfred & Josephine Schrad, Joan Schindler, Phil Kluthe, Laura Kluthe, and JGK Inc. The total is now $37,823.
