Trinity Lutheran Assigned New Vicar

Members of Trinity Lutheran Church in Elgin are getting to know a few new faces in their church. It was announced in May that a new vicar and his family have been assigned to the church and Grace Lutheran Church in Neligh.
Matthew Jukola and his family – wife Coley, baby daughter Natalie plus a cat and dog – have joined the church family.
According to his introductory letter, Vicar Jukola is looking forward to his year serving the two churches.
“We are very excited to meet you all,” he stated.
A native of Golden, CO, Jukola graduated from Sheridan High School in 2007. He attended the University of Denver, majoring in Religious Studies. Upon his graduation there in 2011, he enrolled in Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, IN.
Jukola married Coley (a native of Fort Wayne) on September 1, 2013.  Coley majored in Fine Arts and, according to the Vicar, is a talented woman with ceramics, metal-smithing and cooking!  Their daughter, Natalie Marie, was born in late May.
Elgin welcomes the family to our community!
