Preliminary Hearing For Brandt Set For July 16

July 16 has been set as the date for a preliminary hearing in Antelope County Court for a member of the County Board of Supervisors.
Harlan Brandt, having been accused of the the theft of between $500 and $1,500 of items from Antelope County, was in court Wednesday morning, July 2.
At the request of his attorney, Ron Temple of Norfolk, the court granted a preliminary hearing to be held July 16 at the Antelope County Courthouse in Neligh. The hearing is scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m.
At a preliminary hearing, the prosecution presents evidence to determine if the case merits going to trial.
Last month the county supervisors asked for Brandt’s resignation. However, as of press time, he has yet to do so.
