More wind towers may be coming to Antelope County in the future.
Invenergy, owner of the Prairize Breeze Wind Energy farm near Elgin, is looking into developing another wind energy farm east of Elgin.
To better inform the public about the proposed wind farm, Invenergy will have an open house at the Prairie Breeze Operations & Maintenance Building, 52061 Highway 70. The event will be held Monday, Aug. 11, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
At that time, the public will have the opportunity to meet with Invenergy staff to discuss plans for the Prairie Breeze II Wind Farm, view educational wind turbine and wind farm construction materials.
