Erickson Family Establishes 4-H Scholarship

Antelope County 4-H Committee is proud to announce the establishment of the Antelope County 4-H Scholarship Fund available to youth in Antelope County.
These scholarships will be used for youth to attend 4-H activities such as camps, conferences, and trips. Summer 4-H camps and Citizen Washington Focus trips are an opportunity for 4-H youth to experience opportunities beyond Antelope County.
Antelope County 4-H Committee is dedicated to helping youth grow in skills and leadership and is proud to announce this scholarship that may help youth with the cost of these opportunities.
The Committee will provide three $100 scholarships this year.
This annual scholarship is made possible by the generous donation of the Dallmont Erickson Family and other area donors.
Dallmont Erickson was a lifelong Antelope County resident deeply involved in 4-H. Youth and agriculture were always an important part of Dallmont’s life and through this generous donation his family would like to pass on this tradition.
Applications with a June 1 deadline are available online at www.antelope.unl.edu or by contacting Tessa at the Extension Office at 402-887-5414.
