CEDAR RAPIDS — The Elgin Public-Pope John volleyball team dropped two more matches Thursday night, falling to Newman Grove and Cedar Rapids.
Against Newman Grove, the Wolfpack won the first game 36 to 34, then dropped the next two by the scores of 23-25 and 15-25.
The Wolfpack was close to winning the match in the second game, but Newman Grove played the big points at the end just a little better. In the third game, Newman Grove was able to thwart the Wolfpack’s attack.
