EPPJ Crush Loup City, Headed to Semi-Finals

ELGIN — The Wolfpack jumped out to an early lead and never looked back Tuesday night, claiming a 60 to 13 victory over Loup City in the quarter-final round of the D-1 State Football Playoffs.
By virtue of the victory, EPPJ will host Arapahoe in the semi-final round Monday at Elgin Field. Arapahoe defeated Elm Creek 32 to 26 in a quarter-final matchup.
Against Loup City, the Wolfpack controlled the Red Raiders offensive attack.
The Wolfpack opened the game with a 65-yard drive for a touchdown. Blake Anderson, returning from an ankle injury, had 58 yards rushing in the drive, finishing it off with a one-yard touchdown plunge.
