A light agenda awaits the Elgin City Council when they hold their regular monthly meeting on Monday, Oct. 4.
Among the items on the agenda is discussion and action on an agreement with Antelope County to dispatch and part-time coverage. Earlier this month the Antelope County Board of Supervisors approved the agreement and now it only awaits confirmation from the council to become official policy.
Also on the agenda for Monday’s meeting:
• Discussion and action on a sewer line for Marie Cheatum
• Discussion and action on the creation of a storage bunker.
• Discussion and action on bids for a loader.
• Discussion and action on a building permit being sought by Joan Richart.
The meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. at City Hall and is open to the public.
