Merriam-Webster defines the word “fashion” as a popular way of dressing during a particular time or among a particular group of people.
The Elgin Ko-Ed Group (EKG) is going to give area residents a sweet taste of fashion on Saturday night.
“Catwalks & Cocktails” will be held at the Elgin Community Center. Doors will open at 7:30 p.m. for the sold-out event.
According to organizer Jessie Reestman, the event will feature two distinct fashion shows. The adult fashion show will feature items from Moyer’s, bomgaars, The Boot Rack, and three eighteen On THE AVENUE.
A kid’s fashion show by the Elgin Bargain Box will also provide a wide array of entertainment for those in attendance.
