Ron and Linda Eischeid of Elgin have been selected as winners in the America’s Farmers Grow CommunitiesSM program, which gives farmers the opportunity to win $2,500 for their favorite local nonprofit organizations. The Monsanto Fund sponsors the program, and winning farmers designate a local nonprofit organization to benefit from the donations. The Eischeid’s have designated the Elgin Volunteer Fire Department and Elgin Rescue Squad to receive the donation.
Ron says he is very excited to have been selected as the winner for Antelope County. “I think this program is great, and it is helping our community which is even better. In this day and age it is hard for everyone to make it and donations like this one make it easier,” says Ron.
