The 2010 Elgin High School Alumni Banquet was held on Saturday, June 26, in the EHS gym. A total of 106 alumni, spouses, and guests from all over the United States attended the 7 p.m. banquet.
Todd Heithoff, Class of 1992, served as the master of ceremonies. Randy Nelson, Class of 1980, gave the prayer and then JW Catering of York served a delicious meal.
Following the meal, EHS Superintendent Steve Dennis and EHS Principal Jimmy Feeney were introduced along with the 2010 alumni committee. Bessie Nissen Hawks, Class of 1929, was recognized as the oldest alumnus present.
Ken Reestman, Class of 1975, gave the welcome to the Class of 2010 and Justin Reestman, a 2010 graduate, gave the response.
