The Elgin Community Club presented the Elgin Q125 committee with their carnival check this past week. The check, totaling $4,300, represents monies that the community club has raised through several events to help fund the carnival for the celebration. Those events include the recent Spaghetti Feed, previous Wing Dings, pancake feeds and more. Richard’s Amusements will be set up all three days (June 20, 21 & 22) and have said they will be bringing additional rides. Elgin Community Club president Duane Esau (l) presented the check Tuesday morning to Q125 committee member Chris Stamp.
