Wisner resident Colleen Duncan will be the featured speaker at a fundraiser luncheon in Elgin, Nebraska. The second annual GIRLS (Generations Inspiring Relationships of Lifelong Spirituality) will be held on Sunday, July 19 at the Elgin Knights of Columbus Hall beginning at noon.
Along with the speaker, the noon luncheon will also feature a Purse Silent Auction. As always, men are welcome to enjoy the day with their ladies. Tickets are $20 each and are available from Sharon Gossman (887-5473), Sandi Henn (843-2278), Wanek Pharmacy in Neligh (887-5426) or at the Elgin Pharmacy (843-5555) before July 12.
No tickets will be sold at the door.
Proceeds from the event go to St. Boniface Elementary School.
