Two students from Pope John and one from Elgin Public have been selected to attend Boys State later this year in Lincoln. Gary Hoefer, president of American Legion Elgin Post #229, announced the names of students chosen to attend.
Pope John junior Conor Ramold of Neligh, the son of Nick and Beth Ramold has been selected as a delegate to Boys State. Also from Pope John, junior Luke Henn of Elgin will be attending Boys State. He is the son of Denis and Jan Henn.
Adam Dreger, a junior at Elgin Public School, was chosen to attend Boys State. He is the son of Gary and Denise Dreger.
The trips are paid for by Post #229 and the Elgin Community Club.
