Electrical service to the Elgin football field is among the action items board members will consider when the District #18 School Board meets this week.
The monthly meeting will be held Thursday, March 13, 2014 at 7:30 p.m. in the distance learning room at the high school.
At the February meeting, the board approved Midwest Electrical Services to install new lighting around the football field. They were the low bidder among four firms submitting bids. When board members convene Thursday, they will review and likely approve an estimate for electrical service to the football field to accomodate the new lighting system.
Other items on the action agenda for the board to consider are:
• Approve estimate for ADA ramp for bleachers
• Offer teacher contracts
Also during the meeting, the board will hear a report from the building & grounds committee, review board goals, the principal/AD report, and a report from the superintendent.
The meeting is open to the public.
