DEADLINE TO FILE PROTESTS EXTENDED TO MONDAY

Antelope County landowners will have extra time to decide whether or not to challenge their property valuations.
Antelope County Clerk Carolyn Pedersen announced this week that due to the June 30 deadline falling on a Sunday this year, the last day to file protests on property valuations will be Monday, July 1.
Documents may be dropped off at the county clerk’s office up to 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Protest sent by mail must still meet the deadline and be postmarked no later than June 30.
The Antelope County Board of Equalization will hear protest in the supervisor’s room of the courthouse, starting Monday July 15, at 9 a.m.
