He was preceded in death by father Lewis Shain.
He is survived by mother Wilfrieda Shain, daughter Sherry (John) Van Nice, son Brett (Cathryn) Beck, daughter Valerie Shain Eaton, sister Lewrieda Davies, brother Tom (Mary) Shain, niece Tara Shain and grandchildren Emerson, Max, Luke, Paige and Blake.
His family and friends are grateful for his decision to donate his body to medical research. May he now rest in peace.
