Date Set for BCHC Foundation Gala

Boone County Health Center Foundation’s 2013 Gala will be held Saturday, Feb. 23, featuring “176 Keys Fun Pianos” and their interactive dueling pianos show.
The Gala will be held at the Boone County Event Center, with social hour with silent auction starting at 6 p.m., followed by the meal, live auction, and the show at 7 p.m.
This event is held every other year, with all funds designated to support an area wide healthcare project. This year’s project is “Cancer Care….Navigating Your Journey,” a comprehensive program to prevent, manage and heal the physical and psychosocial conditions that arise with any cancer diagnosis. The BCHC program was created to give cancer survivors a healthier future through rehabilitation.
The Gala will feature a large selection of appetizers and a meal of Philly Steak or chicken sandwich, baby potatoes, fire roasted corn, assorted dessert shooters, and drinks.
“176 Keys Fun Pianos” is currently one of the most successful and widely acclaimed dueling piano shows in the world. It is a family owned and operated business. The performers focus on having fun with the audience in a request—driven concert of popular music from all eras. Tickets for the Gala must be purchased in advance and are available by contacting Aprill Murphy at Boone County Health Center, 402—395—3252.
