Antelope County Assessor Heather McWhorter announced valuations for school districts and other tax sub-divisions.
The figures are used annually by cities, villages, school boards, etc., to determine tax levies for the coming year.
Antelope County’s tax valuation was set at $1,425,429,113. One year ago the valuation was set at $1,253,856,804.
Elgin School District #18’s new valuation is $345,838,249, up from $302,890,840 one year ago.
For the City of Elgin, the new valuation is $26,734,575, up from $24,122,532 one year ago.
