There will be a new county clerk sworn in to office in 2015.
Antelope County Clerk Carolyn Pedersen told The Elgin Review Monday she would not seek re-election. Lisa Payne, a Republican, who works in the county clerk’s office, will run for the position. She was just one of a number of persons who filed for elective office last week.
New filings included:
• Incumbent Heather McWhorter for Antelope County Assessor
• Incumbent LeRoy Kerkman for District #7 Supervisor
