Committee Formed To Select New Supervisor

Antelope County District Six may soon have a new supervisor.
Antelope County Clerk Lisa Payne, along with County Treasurer Deb Branstiter and County Attorney Joe Abler, have scheduled a meeting for June 23 to meet the persons who wish to fill the opening created when Oakdale’s Harlan Brandt was forced to step down last month. The applicant whom they appoint will fill the remainder of Brandt’s term on the Antelope County Board of Supervisors.
The meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 23, at the supervisor meeting room in the Antelope County Courthouse in Neligh. It is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
The first part of the meeting will be open so the public has the opportunity to voice their support and/or opposition of the applicants being considered to fill the position.
