City Of Elgin Now Accepting Credit Cards

Customers needing to make a payment with the City of Elgin now have the option to pay by credit or debit card.  The office recently started using PayPort, a payment processing system, offered by Nebraska.gov.
The City of Elgin is responsible for collecting payments for services including utility payments, dog licenses, swimming pool and camping fees.
Payments can be made online, with credit cards as well as electronic checks, at: ne.gov/go/elgin
Vicki Miller, the City of Elgin Clerk/Treasurer, said “We are so pleased to be able to offer our citizens the ability to pay for city services at any time of the day and any day of the week.  PayPort is a cost effective system that will offer options that we were wanting to provide.” Nebraska.gov has provided the PayPort system without any monthly or maintenance fees charged to the City of Elgin.
