City Council Approves Plan to Repair Streets

The Elgin City Council conceded Monday night some of the projects they would like to do now will have to wait till the next fiscal year.

Early in the meeting, Fred Bader of Bader’s Highway & Street Maintenance of Norfolk, proposed to Council members a plan for crack filling on a number of streets

Since the work hadn’t been done in several years, the price tag for the project would be just under $19,428.05.
