Thank you Elgin Businesses!
The Pope John XXIII Central Catholic juniors and the St. Boniface Elementary School 6th graders host a luncheon for the business community of Elgin each year during Catholic Schools Week. The meal is served at the Knights of Columbus Hall on main street in Elgin. Approximately 100 people were served this year. The students and their families donate the chili, veggies, and cookies. The lunchroom prepares the fresh bread. The students set up, serve and clean up after the lunch. Our businesses play a critical role in supporting our schools. . This is one way the schools express their gratitude for the support the businesses give all year.
