Brian and Kelsey Selting of Lincoln are the parents of a son, Carter Gene, born on April 3, 2012.
Carter weighed six pounds, 12 ounces and was 18 1/4 inches long.
Grandparents are Tony and Angela and the late Lori Muller of Milford, and Gene and Angie Selting of Elgin.
Great grandparents are Mary Ann Muller of Fairbury, Ardyce Schrader of Alma, Kan., and Don and Nancy Selting of Elgin.
