Carpenter Wins Football Contest

Char Carpenter bested all other contestants in the first week of the Elgin Review Football Contest.
She missed just two games to claim the $25 first place prize.
Tying for second, each missing three games were Ryan Meis and Jack Stoltz. In the tiebreaker, Meis guessed 759 and Stoltz picked 610 for total yards between Nebraska and Southern Miss. The correct answer was 892. As a result, Meis wins the $15 runner-up prize.
