Wrapping up a busy week in Elgin, will be the second annual Bull-o-Rama extravaganza. The event will be held Saturday evening, June 15 in the vacant lot directly north of the Elgin Post Office.
Activities get underway at 5:30 with a performance by ‘The Lady & the Tramps’. At 6 p.m., a ‘Calcutta’ will be held. Bull riding will start at 6:30 p.m. Between the first go-round and the finals, there will be an auction of the first of a limited number of Q125 belt buckles.
Providing the animals for the bull riding is the McKay Rodeo Company. Following the conclusion of the bull-o-rama, there will be a dance featuring live music by Katie Lynn & the Crossfire. Also, there will be a mechanical bull ride.
Advance tickets for the bull riding and live music are $8 per person. Tickets for both events purchased at the gate will be $10. Persons just wishing to attend the dance will be required to purchase tickets at the gate at a cost of $5.
Advance tickets are now on sale at Dean’s Market, the Bank of Elgin or from any Elgin Ko-Ed Group member.
