Brett A. Sehi, 38, passed away on January 19, 2010 in Chicago, Illinois.
A Mass of Celebration was held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, February 3, 2010 (today) at the Rural St. John’s Catholic Church. Officiating was Father Kramper. Musical selections were “Halo” and “Winter Light”.
Brett was born June 3, 1971 in Norfolk, Nebraska, the son of Merle and Lois Sehi.
He graduated from Elgin High School in 1989.
After high school Brett graduated from the University of Nebraska with a B.S. in Business.
After college, he moved to Chicago to work as a paralegal for the Sydney and Austin Law Firm. Brett started in 1995 and left in 1999 to start his own business as a computer network consultant.
Brett has a passion for electronics and loved cooking as well as living in Chicago on Lake Shore Drive.
Brett is survived by his father, Merle: sister, Renee (Mike) Riesberg of Des Moines, Iowa; brother, Tim Sehi of Omaha, Nebraska; nieces and nephews, Megan and Kyle Riesberg, Dylan, Laci and Tyler Sehi.
Brett was preceded in death by his mother, Lois and grandparents, Albert and Erma Sehi and Norman and Augusta Saltz.
