Boater Safety Class Date Set

A Boater Safety Class will be held at the Clearwater Fire Hall, April 4th,6-9:00 pm.  This course will be Option B Home Study.
Materials for the class can be downloaded from www.outdoornebraska.org.  Click on Boater Education and go to Option B.

Nebraska law requires any motorboat operator (including personal watercraft) born after December 31, 1985, complete a Boating Safety Course and be in possession of a course certificate when operating the boat.
You must be at least 14 years of age to operate a motorboat (including personal watercraft) in Nebraska. If you are 13 and will turn 14 during this boating season you will be allowed to take the test but will not be completely certified until you are 14.
Successful completion of a NASBLA approved boating safety courses certified or recognized by other states will be accepted for non-resident motorboat operators.
Responsibility solely lies with the operator. There will be a limit of 25 participants!
